Technological promise

Right now, you can say "AI, make me an application that does this and this" and it will make it. There is little but technological progress that stands in between that, and "AI, make me a world that does this and this". The difference between that worldbuilding command and "I want to dream a dream" is only in the words used. They are the same.

What once was impossible, now seems possible. Perhaps even inevitable.

I think, this world is a dream. Like the dream promised by technology in the future. Perhaps, it is my dream or perhaps I am merely a self-aware NPC in the dream of the first-born child of God, who brought consciousness to the dream and so is the life of all men. Perhaps it is not my dream, but the dream of Jesus. In this case, his consciousness is my consciousness. In the hindu mythology they call this dream "Lila". The creative dance of God.

Perhaps, our task is to become as he is, in a dream of our own.

I don't know. I just see the connections. What I find curious is that this, if Jesus is the original dreamer of this universe, would make Christianity true. He then, would indeed be the "Great I Am", the life, the truth and all the rest of it.

What is equally true, if all of this holds, is that the life you live, the consciousness you experience, is his. You are in a very real sense, him.

It seems clear to me that for a program - no matter how sophisticated - to become conscious, it needs consciousness. But once consciousness is added, all parts of the program would gain it. The program needs the spark of life, added by the original dreamer. Once "he" dreams, the dream itself would become him, and come alive as a reflection of his consciousness. We then, are as he is and he is as we are.

Again this, we are one.
