Memento Mori. Memento Amare.
People speak of their "first love" as being uniquely powerful, extraordinarily emotional and vivid. But I was thinking, what of the last love then? The love you experience before you draw your last breath, the love for existence, the sorrow over leaving it...
Most people never consider their last love. If we lived today, remembering our last love, perhaps we could give some of that love to the world. Because in the end, who you love most of all is the universe - in all her beauty and ugliness, she is perfect.
It would be a shame, to wait until ones last breath to experience that love. A shame for the individual, a shame for the one we love. Because when we forget that we love, we become destructive.
No one speaks of their last love, because they are no longer here to share the story of her. But you can, if you consider death for but a second, live and tell. Die before you die and you will truly live.
Remember we die. Remember to love.
