Creatio Ex Nihilo
I am feeling particularily self-reflective today, and was wondering why I am so "driven" to delve into the fundamental nature of reality searching for answers.
I think I am driven by a question, without knowing what the question is. There is then a "yearning for a resolution", without there being anything to resolve. Such a perspective allows one to delve quite deep into oneself, and into the fundamental nature of reality.
It is, I think, an honest approach. The question which is not a question demands that I discard all pre-existing notions and ideas, which allows a certain clarity when I discover something new.
I once wrote that "The question is the answer, because without the question, no answer can possibly be found". But what if the question is "nothing", as is the case with my "undefined drive"? Perhaps then the answer is "everything".
By trying to understand this "nothing" which drives me, I might learn to understand "everything". This reflects, I think, the reality of our existence.
Everything after all, comes from nothing, as beauty comes from ugliness (see previous post for context).
Creatio ex nihilo.
I am being created by the question which is not a question.
To what end? I do not know.
But even this post, came from it.
